Sunny Pix

Pictures taken with under the sun almost always turn out nicely. Compared to an indoor picture, or one at night, these sunny pictures are always great to look at. See what a huge difference artificial lighting from the flash your camera has when compared to good ol' sunlight :)

Nothing like sailing on a sunny day :)
This was at the Johor Regatta 2008, held at Tanjung Langsat.

Did you know, the southernmost tip of mainland Asia is at Tanjung Piai, Johor? ;) Don't believe me? Look at a map. Or if you're lazy, Google it. :P

This is one of my favourites, taken at the Pasir Gudang International Kite Festival... I was on the ground, and this happy kite was in the sky..this is what the smiley kite looked like from below.

This kite-flyer came all the way from Indonesia...and he was kind enough to oblige me a picture of him and his gigantic 'wau' kite.

Notice how the sun can bring out colours and add life to everything?
This was at the Johor Baru Secondary School Band Competition 2008.

Straight from Mother Nature

Have you ever thought to yourself, "How beautiful the world is...I want to capture it and show it to all my friends!"

Haha. Okay, so not all of us want to take pictures of something beautiful to show off to our friends. Most of the time, the pictures we take are to remind us how breathtaking something we once saw was.

I always find my pictures to be a disappointment because it's so hard to truly capture the astounding beauty of Mother Nature...but...no harm in trying! :)

These pictures were taken in Langkawi Island..
Look at the airplane in this one :)

A beautiful sunset...

These 2 shots were taken from the suspension bridge in Langkawi...a breathtaking view of the blue blue sea ... :)

Light and Dark

These pix play around with lighting...It's interesting to see how light enveloped in darkness can turn out.

Foodie Goodies!

These are some of my favourite pix of food :D

The first one is miniature cupcakes taken during a house-warming ceremony. I love the how the different colors blend in nicely together, and the way the cupcakes are arranged in order...

Psst...note the missing cupcake? ;)

And yeah! They were DELICIOUS ...Heheh..

This one is another one of my favourites.

I like the way the iddlys (the white fluffy things on the plate, they're an Indian delicacy) look so tantalizing...and just waiting to be dipped in the chutney (the orange mixture in the bowl) to be eaten...

This is a picture that makes me salivate .. :D~~~

Ahhh...thick, hot cream poured on bread pudding with slices of oranges in between...

This was taken during my 21st b'day celebration at a restaurant in Bangsar..and guess what the place is called?

: Delicious

No joke! The eatery sure lives up to its name, because everything we had there was delicious!

In this pic, I love the way the lighting plays with the pudding...its darker in the back with a warm mellow spotlight that lights up the center of the picture...creating a very 'delicious' effect indeed. ;)

Doe-eyed dear

This doeful picture was taken at the deer farm at my UUM Sintok, my university. It's cool when animals look straight into the camera. :)
